Every song starts with a question. This one started with the most vulnerable question a person can ask — and the courage it takes to ask it out loud.
There's a moment in every artist's journey where you have to decide: do I play it safe, or do I say the thing that scares me most? 'Who's Gonna Love Ya' was born in one of those moments.
I wrote this song during a season of deep reflection. I had been watching people around me — good people, faithful people — wrestling with loneliness. Not the kind that comes from being alone in a room, but the kind that comes from wondering if anyone truly sees you. Truly chooses you. Truly stays.
The question 'Who's gonna love ya?' isn't a taunt. It's a cry. It's the thing we whisper to ourselves at 2 in the morning when the world has gone quiet and the doubts get loud. And I believe God hears that cry.

Making this record was a risky endeavor. Gospel music has its lanes, and R&B has its lanes, and I've always lived in the space between them — which means I don't always fit neatly into either. But I've learned that the most honest music doesn't ask permission to exist.
I want this song to find the person who needs it. The one who has been overlooked, undervalued, or left behind. I want them to hear it and know: you are worth being loved. Completely. Unconditionally. And that love — the real kind — already has your name on it.
That's the risk worth taking. Every single time.
